A Quick Glance

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals, couples, and families seeking emotional, behavioral, and relational well-being in their lives.  In addition to being a professional counselor, I am also an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.  My daily goals including being the best husband, father, son, professional counselor, encourager, and speaker I can be with the gifts and opportunities God has given me.  I am continually growing and enjoying life in each of those roles.

The Personal Details

Life is and will continue to be full of challenges, difficulties, traumatic experiences and unanswered questions. However, as difficult and painful as those experiences may be, they are not meant to define us.  They maybe part of our story, but they do not have to be who we are (our identity) and they do not have to determine who we become. There is beauty, significance, joy, adventure, meaning and purpose for every life, and Life by Design Wellness is my way of helping people discover the significant life they were created to live.

I do not minimize the challenges people are experiencing, I come alongside them to help them overcome those challenges.  I assist clients in their journey in experiencing new insights, in identifying desired positive changes in beliefs, feelings, and behaviors, and in developing healthy coping skills, desired lifestyle changes, and personal growth goals.  The nuts and bolts of my approach to the counseling process include the integration of evidenced-based methods and techniques specific to each client’s needs, personality and therapy goals.

I provide counseling services for clients experiencing depression, grief, anxiety, unhealthy levels of stress, addiction, relationship problems, career questions, as well as those seeking support in their role as a parent, minister, or organizational leader.
